Hi I’m Mia! I joined Step Ahead Dance School when I was 13 where I started taking classes in ballet, modern and street dance. It was such a welcoming environment from both the teachers and students, everybody was really positive and supportive! I received great training from Natalie and Nina and saw myself progressing quickly. My favourite memories were always taking part in the shows, as being at Step Ahead made me realise how much I love to perform! I was always encouraged to try my best and most importantly to have fun! As a result my passion for dance soon developed and I decided to pursue this both at college and university. In 2020 I began my degree at the University of Salford. During my time there I developed my skills in Ballet, Contemporary and Commercial dance. I also had the opportunity to do work experience and I decided to come back to Step Ahead to help assist teaching dance classes which I thoroughly enjoyed! I recently graduated in July 2023 receiving a degree in Bachelor of Arts with a First.
